What Integral does and does not do.
Integral is a technical tool for issuing and checking licenses. It is not legal or tax advice and not copy protection.
Integral does
- sign licenses with Ed25519 and verify them offline with your public key,
- check Polar license keys through Polar's public API,
- with Integral Pro, issue, renew and revoke licenses from Polar orders and subscriptions.
Integral does not
- stop someone who can change your application from removing a license check,
- write your license terms, invoices or privacy notices.
You decide what your license terms say, what happens after a cancellation, and which personal data (such as email addresses) you put into licenses and store on your server. Licenses are signed, not encrypted: anyone who has one can read its content.
The free packages @sweberdev/integral and @sweberdev/integral-react are MIT licensed. Integral Pro has its own license terms, delivered with the packages.
